Portfolio Manager / Associate Portfolio Manager
Major responsibilities include:
- Engage in portfolio / fund management activities including valuation models and trading strategies
- Perform research work to evaluate investment opportunities
- Formulate and implement tailor-made financial solutions to clients with reference to their targets and needs
- Provide portfolio consulting services to clients
- Strive to maximize investment portfolio alpha and outperform the benchmark consistently on a risk-adjusted basis
- Assisting in raising capital and executing transactions from start to closing
Requirements:
- Posses a University Degree in Finance or Economics with at least 5 years working experience in fund management with reputable asset management houses
- CFA charterholder and / or MBA is an added advantage
- Licenses for SFC Type 4 (Advising on Securities) and 9 (Asset Management) regulated activities are preferred
- Good communication skills in English and Putonghua are ESSENTIAL
Senior Analyst / Analyst
Major responsibilities include:
- Performing financial valuation, discounted cash flow and multiples based analyses
- Building and using financial models
- Conducting industry research
- Conducting due diligence and reviewing of legal documents
- Provide opinions and recommendations on sectors and companies to portfolio manager
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related discipline with 2 years research experience
- CFA charterholder / candidates will be an advantage
- Hard working, proactive, independent and willing to travel
- Demonstrated record of related professional excellence and aptitude for numbers
- With intellectual curiosity, creativity, a passion to make an impact and personal integrity
- Fluency in both verbal and written English and Putonghua is A MUST
